However, taking care of your online safety should be a priority, and every now and then, you should spend some time on it, so let’s get started. Step 1: Log into your OptusNet account
Go to the OptusNet My Account page and click the blue “Sign in” button that appears in the upper right corner.
Enter your login details as requested and, if necessary, verify your identity using two-factor authentication.
Step 2: open your security settings.
Click the “Login and Security” button, and you will be presented with a series of options. Scroll down until you find the “Singing on OptusNet” section.
Step 3: change your password.
Look for the section titled “Password.” It will tell you when you last changed it and if you have 2-step verification turned on. Click the Password button and enter your password again to confirm your identity.
Next, you will be asked to enter a new password. Make sure it’s complicated, with a combination of numbers, letters, capital letters, and special characters. If you’re worried about forgetting it, use a password manager.
Once you’ve verified your password, it’s a good time to double-check your other account details, such as two-step verification and recovery methods.
Change your password with the OptusNet app for Android
If you access your email on an Android smartphone or tablet, the method of changing the password is a little different but not more complicated.
Open the OptusNet app and click on the three-line menu icon in the upper left corner. Next, select “Settings” at the bottom of the menu and then choose the account you want to change.
Click on Manage your OptusNet account, followed by the Menu button and then Settings.
